Letter of Recommendation

To Whom It May Concern

Washington DC, June 9, 2008

I have known Mr. Carlton Rounds since 2001. I met him in his capacity as Program Manager of the Program in International Education at Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. Through his work as the manager of the program, the liaison with faculty and administration, and an advisor to all the foreign scholars, he made a significant contribution to the success and expansion of the program as well as to a truly valuable experience of the international students at this globally renowned liberal arts college.

Mr. Rounds is a passionate educator and an outstanding manager who thoroughly understands multiculturalism. He has manifested and channeled his deeply felt beliefs and convictions in tolerance, social justice and cooperation into his work, social conduct and personal life. He is a natural leader and an excellent team player. His extensive travels and his broad experience in international education make him a top candidate for management positions in the areas of education, advising, advocacy and program coordination.

Beyond all of the above, Mr. Rounds has been a true friend of many foreign countries and nations, including that of Hungary and Hungarians as well as other Central and Eastern Europeans. He has a deep understanding of the many centuries of struggle of the peoples of our region for independence, freedom, democracy and social justice.

On this basis, I would like to express my wholehearted support and recommendation for Mr. Rounds for this position and ask for your positive consideration of his candidacy.

Sincerely,

Zoltán Fehér, JD
Chief Creative Officer, Press and Media Attaché
