Carlton and I worked together at Cross-Cultural Solutions (CCS) for over a year during my tenure as Director of Program Management, our departments interacting on a regular basis. From the first day he joined CCS Carlton has made a positive contribution and I have admired and welcomed his unique perspective and expertise.



Carlton's interpersonal skills are exemplary; he has terrific natural presence. His broad experience in the arenas of academia and international exchange dovetailed perfectly with the organization's mission and broadened its knowledge base in significant ways. His creativity was evident in many forms, not the least of which was in identifying new markets for Cross-Cultural Solutions.

As a professional with an international relations and training background, I personally admired his excellent cultural competency abilities. He led a training session for my department on this subject, and it was by far the most interesting and successful discussion my staff of 15 Program Managers had ever experienced. As a result, their level of cultural competency increased, impacting 4000 volunteers annually, and many many more people exponentially with whom they come in contact.

I value Carlton's traits of being very goal-oriented, as well as being a team player, professional and easygoing. He was keenly devoted to his work and also enjoyable to be around.
